CJC-1295 without DAC, also called Modified GRF (1-29), is a GHRH 1-29 analogue with amino-acid substitutions intended to resist enzymatic breakdown. Unlike the DAC form, it does not bind albumin.
It builds on research into GHRH 1-29 (sermorelin), the shortest GHRH fragment with full biological activity; a review by Prakash and Goa summarizes that background. The shorter half-life of the form without DAC makes it useful for studying pulsatile growth-hormone release.
